Jodi Dunlap M.Ed., Program Director
Jodi Brown Dunlap is the Program Director for Pace School. Ms. Dunlap has a unique perspective as the leader of the Pace educational program having served as a classroom teacher and educational supervisor within the program prior to being promoted to Program Director for the 2006-2007 school year.
In the course of her 12-year tenure with Pace School, Ms. Dunlap has also received certification as a Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) trainer and served as the director of the Collaborative Learning Experience (CLE). A two-year teacher training program, CLE engaged public school special education teachers in the study and implementation of "best practice" instruction and behavior management. She is currently completing post-graduate study to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Ms. Dunlap holds a Masters Degree in Education and a supervision certification in Special Education from the University of Pittsburgh. Throughout her professional career, she has presented at local, state and national conferences including the Pittsburgh Public School's, the PA Council for Exceptional Children, the Pennsylvania Child and Adolescent Service System (CASSP) and the national conference for Council for Children with Behavioral Disorders.
Ms. Dunlap also applies her considerable skill and experience to consultation with school districts within the 7-county Pace School service area.
