At Pace School, mental health services are fully integrated into the school day through our School Based Partial Hospitalization Program.  This unique service allows students with chronic or emerging behavioral health disorders to receive intensive and ongoing treatment directly integrated into their school day when that level of service is included as a related service on their Individual Education Plan (IEP).

School Based Partial Hospitalization provides individual, group and family therapy, medication management and service coordination with other providers.  Psychiatric services are provided on-site by Board Certified Psychiatrists with counseling and behavioral treatment services are provided by master’s level therapists with daily monitoring in each classroom.  This intensive level of service concentrates the care available to children and families as a diversion from and alternative to in-patient treatment.
