Blended Services
Blending all academic and behavioral services into a comprehensive learning environment helps students achieve.
Students in all programs require services above and beyond those available in traditional school classrooms. Pace School believes that by blending all academic and behavioral services into a comprehensive learning environment students can achieve the maximum benefit available while staying on-task and learning.
Using evidence based interventions that draw on the most current research, Pace focuses on making measurable progress toward long term academic and treatment goals.
At our Approved Private School and Partial Hospital Program, Pace blends special education and psychiatric services into a comprehensive learning environment known as the “milieu”. Specialists from each discipline provide intensive services within the context of the milieu where they can transfer and generalize those skills into a typical school experience.

How kids and families benefit from the Pace School model:
- Aids life-changing improvements in academic, school survival and life-management skills
- Identifies and coordinates other resources and services to meet family needs
- Returns many students to public school, ready to learn!
- Diverts the child from psychiatric in-patient hospitalizations
