Parent’s Note of Thanks
“My son is a 12 year old child at Pace. Daniel was diagnosed with Pervasive Development Disorder (PDD) at age 3. He went through his elementary education with a lot of ups and downs, but always with the support of his teachers. When he entered middle school he was showing signs of great stress. His grades were dropping and he was being bullied. His behaviors and frequency of episodes was increasing to the point that admission to Western Psychiatric seemed necessary to keep him safe.
Then we found Pace School. While at Pace his grades have improved and he has made the honor roll. For the first time, he has his choice of friends. Since his admission to Pace he has done a complete turnaround and become a different child. I asked him how he felt about Pace and he said, ‘Mom, I finally feel safe’. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving my son back to me.”
