The first time Matthew was asked a question he did not understand, he just quit.  He didn’t know that at Pace, we never give up on finding the key to learning.  After rephrasing the question in several ways, Matthew’s eyes lit up.  Not only was he able to answer the question, he added some of the vocabulary to his everyday conversation.  He now enjoys racing the teacher in reading passages loves to answer questions that demonstrate his comprehension.
