At Pace School, educational and behavioral supports are built to surround each student. Small classes of 8 – 12 students are each staffed with a PA certified special education teacher, a milieu therapist and a classroom assistant. That team is supplemented by mental health professionals, behavioral and crisis support personnel, a certified school psychologist, nursing, speech and language therapists and certified teachers in art, music, physical education, daily living skills and computer technology. Additional supports, such as occupational or physical therapy and personal care assistants are available with school district approval.
