Pace School is hiring a full-time Behavior Management Coordinator (BMC). The objective of this position is to deliver the assigned elements of children/adolescent’s mental health treatment plan, and to establish and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for children/adolescents that is conducive to the delivery of mental health treatment within an educational setting.

The Classroom Assistant's objective is to provide assistance to the classroom teacher related to clerical tasks and instructional/behavioral support to students.

A Personal Care Assistant's objective is to provide instructional and behavioral/therapeutic assistance and support to an individual student.

OBJECTIVE:  

To promote and enhance the overall academic mission by providing services that strengthen home, school, and community partnerships and address barriers to learning and achievement.

To significantly contribute to the development of a healthy, safe, and caring environment by advancing the understanding of the emotional and social development of children and the influences of family, community, and cultural differences on student success along with the implementation of effective intervention strategies.

The teacher's objective is to design and implement instruction in accordance with the Individualize Education Program (IEP) for each student, the mandates of Federal and State special education law and the PA Core standards..

OBJECTIVES
1. Develop and implement programs, incorporating best practices and facilitating compliance with federal and state mandates and regulations, with particular emphasis on transition.
2. Assist in the integration of the Academic Standards for Career Education and Work into the curriculum and daily instruction.
3. Ensure that transition activities and services are addressed for each eligible student.
