For EMOTIONAL/BEHAVIORAL SUPPORTS, Pace programming focuses on integrating mental health, behavioral services and social emotional learning directly into the classroom and across the school day.
Students are referred to Pace School with a wide variety of social, emotional and behavioral challenges and/or autism that interfere with their ability to participate in the regular school environment. An array of educational and behavioral supports is provided to each student in order to promote success.
Small class size of 8-12 students
Staff to student ratio of not more than 4:1
PA Certified Special Education teacher in each classroom
Special Area and Support Personnel:
Creative Arts Certified Teachers (Art, Music, Daily Living Skills, Physical Education, Technology)
Mobile (crisis) Support Staff
Speech and Language Therapists
Occupational and Physical Therapists and other related services as outlined in the child’s IEP
